What is microblading and how does it work?Microblading is a semi-permanent makeup technique used to create the appearance of fuller, natural-looking eyebrows. It involves using a specialized tool to deposit pigment into the skin in fine, hair-like strokes, mimicking the look of real eyebrow hairs.
-
How long does microblading last? The results of microblading typically last between 1 to 3 years, depending on factors such as skin type, lifestyle, and aftercare. Touch-up sessions are recommended every 12 to 18 months to maintain the desired look.
-
Is the microblading procedure painful? Most clients report minimal discomfort during the microblading procedure. A topical numbing cream is applied before the process begins to help manage any pain. The sensation is often described as a slight scratching or pressure.
-
What should I do to prepare for my microblading appointment? To prepare for your microblading appointment, avoid consuming alcohol, caffeine, and blood-thinning medications at least 48 hours prior. Avoid sun exposure, tanning, and facial treatments for at least two weeks before your appointment. Detailed pre-care instructions can be found on our Pre-Care page.
